Our Objectives feed our passion; they include:

Improve the nutritional statuses of children in targeted rural areas.

Significantly increase the number of children under 6 receiving appropriate and timely feeding from parents (or primary caregivers) in Wathnakpheap program areas.

Significantly increase the number of children under 6 receiving appropriate healthcare in Wathnkapheap (WP) program areas.

Deep in the Cambodian provinces is where you will find our most genuine value. WP’s development expertise is the backbone of our Community-Led Nutrition Program. The program allows us to access nutritional behaviors at the frontline, and develop them in accordance to our projects’ activities. Our main Activities include:

Collaborating with local authorities, increasing their support, and helping them with resourcing maternal, infant and youth healthcare services, and centres.

Building the capacity of healthcare providers (private, non-formal, and public) to deliver better quality maternal, infant and young child healthcare services.

Promoting the importance of appropriate maternal, infant and young child health practices to parents and primary caregivers. This includes feeding, hygiene, agriculture, and healthcare-access.

Working with partners and stakeholders to increase and sustain funding once projects finish.

 

Every child under 6 should receive early childhood care and development (ECCD), and have access to a complete primary and lower secondary education. Youths will be equipped for gainful employment.

Our Objectives drive our motivation; they include:

Significantly increase the number of children aged under 15 who successfully complete lower secondary school in Wathnakpheap (WP) program areas.

Significantly increase the number of children under 6 in WP program areas receiving appropriate home-based and formal early childhood care and development (ECCD).

Significantly increase the number of youths in WP program areas who are employed with reliable work that provides them with a sufficient standard of living.

Our Activities define our progress, they include:

Collaboration with local authorities to raise awareness of children’s education rights.

Building the capacity of educational institutions.

Promotion of the importance of home-based and formal ECCD to parents.

Strengthening of community-based monitoring systems to combat the exploitation of children.

Working with vocational skills providers to improve the quality of, and increase access to, training services available to youths.

Supporting youth organizations such as youth clubs to provide more opportunities for young people to participate in regional and national level dialogues.

Working with partners and stakeholders to increase funding to support the provision of the above-stated activities, during and after the project.

Our Objectives govern our output; they include:

Significantly increase the number of local authorities at the commune-level in Wathnakpheap (WP) project areas to functionally deliver social services that respond to the needs of the community.

Significantly increase the number of local authorities at the commune-level in WP program areas who are transparent and accountable in their delivery of service.

Significantly increase the number of community members living in WP project areas who are actively participating in decision-making and monitoring of social service delivery.

Our Activities see real results; they include:

Collaboration with local authorities to enhance their capacity to provide responsive social services to their community.

Strengthening the effectiveness of mechanisms for community members to monitor and provide feedback on the performance of local authorities.

Building the capacity of focal persons to work effectively with local authorities, public service providers, and community members in sharing information, mobilizing participation, and encouraging ownership.

Working with partners and stakeholders to increase funding to support the provision of the above-stated activities, especially for when projects come to completion.

Our Objectives come from the belief that every Cambodian deserves a dignified life. They include:

Significantly increase the number of poor families in Wathnakpheap (WP) project areas whose livelihoods are more sustainable and resilient to the effects of climate change.

Significantly increase the number of poor families in WP project areas earning more income.

Our Activities put beliefs into action; they include:

Equipping poor families with the knowledge and resources needed to increase the resilience and sustainability of their livelihoods.

Collaboration with service providers to deliver better quality technical skills training to poor families.

Working with the private sector to improve job opportunities within the community, especially for youths.

Strengthening the capacity of community-based groups to support members to improve their income, including farmer cooperatives and savings groups.

Working with partners and stakeholders to increase funding to support the provision of the above-stated activities after project completion.
