Ensure effective community mobilization and leadership to create an environment for community-led development.
Increase use of improved sanitation facilities.
Increase practice of key nutrition actions.

Initiate and facilitate Village Health Support Groups (VHSGs) and equip them with appropriate WASH messages for maximum peer-to-peer knowledge sharing.
Support VSHGs in monthly contact with caregivers, couples and households to monitor growth and provide age-based counseling on nutrition, child development and parenting and WASH behavior change.
Introduce a behavioral record for each child or pregnant woman for tracking which behaviors are successful or lagging.
Support a range of community groups with the VHSGs including parents’ and adolescent groups to engage in discussion and to make action plans to support key behaviors.
